I decided to contact my west coast best friend since we were kind of talking already via Facebook status messages. She'll be here in about two weeks and we've got a great many of fun things planned.
Things have gotten worse with my east coast best friend. I haven't talked with her in a few weeks even though she is still in almost near constant communication with my husband. I just don't know what to do. He says "don't just write her off" but that's my first impulse to do.
I'm trying to be better and allow people to be "human" as the phrase goes, but I really hate being the person people ONLY call when they are in desperate need. Its one of my biggest pet peeves, both professionally and personally.
