Not a whole lot has been accomplished...
What we know after second round of x-rays:
The cartilage between the C4 vertebrae in the neck has significantly deteriorated due to arthritis, causing the bones to rub against each other and compress the spinal cord, as well as the nerves surrounding it, leading to pain, stiffness, and potential neurological symptoms like sensorineural hearing loss, vertigo, nausea and vomitting. The cartilage has been completely broken dow and the formation of bone spurs (osteophytes) which can narrow the space for the spinal cord.
What will insurance cover? Nothing.
... so back to therapy. Jumping through hoops for them.
The swelling in my neck has gotten worse effecting my ability to swallow and caused more pain because pinched nerves that are already irritated dont like additional pressure so... more pain pills and other medication to handle the symptoms.
September is the next update 🥴
